About the Curriculum We Use
Infants, Toddlers & Two's use the "Creative Curriculum" curriculum
Preschoolers use the "Horizons Preschool" curriculum from Alpha Omega Publishers and Hooked-on-Phonics
Kindergarten readiness curriculum (learning to count, identify and sort objects, learning to read by identifying alphabet and phonics, building fine and large motor skills, learning to retell and comprehend stories, learn days of the week, months of the year, weather conditions, and much, much, more). Curriculum is instructor-led to meet the needs of each individual child.
School-Agers (K-12 in the Private School Room) use the "Ignitia", "Horizon", curriculum from Alpha Omega Publishers as our base curriculum. There will be supplementary curriculum items such as Internet, CD ROM's, field trips and many other resources used for each age group. Click HERE for a review of our curriculum.
Extras: (computer based learning in our preschool classroom, basic sign-language skills taught, basic Spanish words and phrases taught) Although we have base curriculum listed on this site, we use a variety of curriculum and we tailor the curriculum we use to meet the needs of each child.
